Untarring a File or Directory

To untar a file or directory:

1. Start your Web browser.

2. Log in to your Control Panel.

3. Click File Manager. The File Manager window appears.

4. Browse to the .tar file or directory you want to untar.
   
   Note: Tarred files have a .tar file name extension.

5. Click the file name or directory. A new window appears.

6. Click Untar File. A message appears confirming that the file or directory was untarred.
