Remember
those little metal handheld counters that theatre ushers use to
count people? That's what this electronic counter does. Using it,
you can count how many times people have visited your Web site. It
is always a good thing to know how popular your page is. |

The
counter is already pre-installed. To implement the counter:

Click
File Manager. |
| 2. |
If
you know the pathname of your web page, type it in the Jump
directly to text box and press Enter. If you do not remember
it, then select the www directory. |

Select
the htdocs directory. |
| 4. |
Select
your web page file, likely called /index.html. The file opens
in the edit window. |
| 5. |
Edit
the file where you want the counter to appear, by typing either
of the following lines: |

Click
Save Edited File. |
| 7. |
Open
your web page. The counter will be there. |
